Sub-liminal Learning

When is learning at the conscious level? When is learning at the subconscious level? When do you know the difference. Or... do you even care to know the difference? Whatever the answers may be, how do you take learning to the level that you are so engaged in the activity that learning is secondary to the actual activity? What does that look like?

Gamers, gaming, simulation are what easily come to mind when you think about subliminal learning. Online games are so captivating, so addictive, so emmersing, so competitive, that hours can go by and to the gamer time is just a number because they will stay as long as it takes to feed themselves until satisfaction, fatigue or frustration takes over. Not all the most attractive thoughts, but one's to build on and learn from for the learning and communication community.

What are your ideas, experiences, concerns, issues, frustrations about how to introduce, reflect on and benefit from gamers in the corporate learning areana?
